Built in 1853, the old covered train bridge that crosses the Falls was once constructed of wood. After forty years of service, the bridge was replaced in 1893, with an iron bridge. That bridge was later removed in 1939--along with the cancellation of the Honeoye Falls railroad line--leaving only the limestone abutment in the middle of the creek.
